Riley Hoepfner

Riley Hoepfner, a Belmont County native from Bellaire, Ohio, is a recent addition to the Sunday Creek Horizons team. Riley graduated from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in May of 2021. While a student at OHIO, Riley’s studies focused on Political Science and the intersection of Law, Justice, and Culture, with an emphasis on public policy. Before working with Sunday Creek Horizons, she worked for the Ohio University Research Department as the Lead Student Coordinator and as a legislative intern for Congressman Tim Ryan. Riley is passionate about education accessibility, public health, and overall social welfare in rural Appalachia. Through her role at Sunday Creek, Riley is excited to work directly with communities and individuals in the region to address challenges and highlight strengths unique to the area.
