Piper Halliday
Piper Halliday was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio; an upbringing that exposed her to the unique issues facing our region, which piqued her interests in government and advocacy.
In 2024, Piper graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and French. Her studies gave her multiple opportunities to live and work in France. These experiences exposed her to new perspectives that shaped her intellectual and educational journey.
At Sunday Creek Horizons, Piper’s work has spanned various areas, including budget research, private and public client work, and community development. Her efforts are driven by a strong commitment to improving the quality of life in her hometown and region.
Before joining Sunday Creek Horizons, Piper worked as a government affairs intern at Shumaker Advisors, a lobbying firm in Columbus. She is excited to work for a group focused on Appalachian Ohio and make a positive impact on the lives of the people in the region.
