Kerry Battershell

Kerry Battershell began his career with Sunday Creek Horizons in 2022 as a fellow, transitioning to a full-time associate role in 2023, and advancing to project manager in 2024. Throughout this time, he has collaborated with community partners to secure funding from federal and state sources through grant writing, resulting in multiple successfully funded projects.

Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Mount Union (2020) and a Master’s in Applied Politics from the University of Akron (2023). He resides in Akron, Ohio, where he enjoys walking the trails in the Summit Metro Parks and spending time with his significant other and three cats, Freya, Cleo, and Apollo.
